Republicanism was instilled in her from an early age. Well, I grew up in Oregon and my parents were rabid Republicans. I've been a Republican all of my life, until Obama came along and I said, "this is it". He's a very unusual person, and of course the parties have changed too. I never just voted for somebody because he was Republican or Democratic. I changed my voter registration from Republican to Democratic, and that was surprising to me after having been a Republican for a lifetime. I wouldn't vote for John McCain if he was the only person on the ballot. |
